The emblem of the Fourth Degree features the dove, the cross and the globe. The dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit and reflects peace. This symbol of peace hovers over the globe (the earth). Both the dove and the globe are mounted on a variation of the Crusader's Cross found on the tunics and capes of the knights who battled to regain the Holy Land from the pagans. The colors of the emblem, red, white and blue, are the colors of the flag of our country in which our order originated. The colors of our emblem reflect the basic principle of the Fourth Degree, Patriotism.
